This year 2014, I thought long and hard about resolutions and what I can do to make this year better for me and my body.  I am a huge fan of the donut, the chocolate iced donut, the glazed donut and chocolate iced cake donuts to mention a few of my favorites.  I am also the longest standing fan and addict of Kraft Macaroni and Cheese, spirals specifically.  Looking back over my 2013, I realized that every week, I would eat donuts and Mac N Cheese at least 4-7 times which is EXCESSIVE to most but I have the pallet of a 4yr old child so it was heaven to me and normal.  I’ve gained some weight which I attribute to my age…. because they say it gets harder each year to stay in shape and add my consumption of donuts and mac n cheese.

I have given up both items for the 2014 year.
Say goodbye for now to my two most favorite things in the world:|

I feel that by announcing I have given them up, it sort of is in stone.  Its day 8 and I’m mac n cheese and donut free.  Its been a struggle for SURE!!

Stick around and I will share the dramatic thing I tried next!

Good for you!!! I know you can do it! I love donuts, too, but gave them up a year ago except for 2-3 times a year when I treat myself. Just don't substitute something else just as sugary and bad for you in place of the donuts! When I had a craving, I'd eat a clementine, one of the sweeter fruits. At first it didn't satisfy my cravings at all, but over time my mind got used to eating them instead of sweets and just accepted it, I guess. Now it's not so hard to turn down the sweet stuff!

All I can say is GOOD LUCK!! I don't know if I would be able to give up my favorite donuts - maple bars. Kudos to you!
