Thin mints~Sneaky girl scouts!

Every year I say the same thing, “I am not buying Girl Scout Cookies!”  It never fails that when that cute lil’ girl comes knocking on my door, we are suckered into her sweet speech and before she even explains her cause, I’m pawing for the catalog to add my name to the roster of other suckers who have ordered before me.

I cannot remember a year of my life when Girl Scout Cookies were not in our home.  I remember one year that my Mom ordered enough to sustain us for the year but it didn’t work out.  I am not sure what they make them with, but they are the most addicting cookies I’ve ever had in my life.  I appreciate the fact that my favorite cookie has the word “THIN” in it but am pretty sure they are anything but slimming.

Our delivery of 2 boxes of Thin Mints came yesterday and we opened them as fast we could.  Everyone in our house loves these cookies, except Ryan.  He says they look like they are made of dirt.  I just hear him saying MORE FOR YOU MOMMY under all that dirt talk.  I know you are asking, “How could you only buy 2 boxes!?”  Excellent question.  Thank goodness for the girls sitting in front of the grocery stores.

I am curious though- who came up with the idea of putting these amazing cookies in the freezer?  This is seriously the only way I know to eat these magical thin mints!!  Gosh, I even remember when I was a kid, pulling them out in packs of 5 to eat at a time and eating the edges first to make them last forever.  There was always a slight extra chocolate around the edges that I loved and still do although, I have to eat them quicker because I have 2 cute little girls of my own that love them as much as I do and this Momma doesn’t like to share!

Lookie there! Thin Mints are ranked #1!  I have had a Tagalong but I don’t think I’ve even had any other cookies! Crazy, right?

So tell me, what is your favorite cookie?  How do you store them? In the freezer like me?  I am sure I am missing out on some other great cookies but my heart belong with the Thin Mint, till death do us part.

Thin Mints are my all time favorite too! I can't stay out of them and I will eat the whole dang box if someone doesn't take them from me!

Do you know that not one person has tried to sell me GSC? I want some!! Where are they?? I like the freezer style thin mints but I also love the top 4. I've had them all. The samoas may be my favorite. Or the tagalongs. Anyway, I am the type of person that would buy 3 boxes and hide 2 so I could eat them all myself. I'm kinda selfish that way.

HA!

And, I did some of the rafflecopter thing. YAY!

Love a Thin Mint, but missed the GS's this year, so I'm out of luck. Tagalongs are my 2nd fave, though we live in the part of the country that gave up the cute names in favor of Peanut Butter Patties and other genericness.

I think thin mints are EVERYONE's fave. I buy some for me and some for my kids. Hubby likes the Do Si Dos. Last year they came out with a lemon cookie called Savanah Smiles....if you like lemon you MUST try these.

Thin Mints are totally my favorite too-- and yep the girls in front of the store got me too! Though I just bought one box of thin mints and one box of Samoas as that is what Eric likes.

Samoas are my favorite, and I keep a box in the freezer (along with Thin Mints!)

It's a tie between thin mints and samoas for me, and I love putting them in the freezer! It here's a little girl selling them at our church and I was so sad I didn't have my checkbook or cash. Pregnant plus girl scout cookies equals many many boxes! :-)
