monday highlights

This morning I received an email from Julee Turner’s Auction committee that I wanted to share:

“Thank you for participating in the Silent Auction to benefit Julee and Preslee Turner. Your participation, either through your donation or your bidding, has helped us raise over $12,000 for the Turner family. This auction would not have been a success without your participation.”

I am amazed at the support that the blog community put together.  My husband, Erik always jokes that my friends from blogging are “friends from the Matrix world”.  While it would be nice to have the Matrix super powers, I can tell you that the friends in this world are some of the best I’ve found in a long time.

If you didn’t get to participate in the auction and still want to help, a memorial fund has been set up in honor of Matt Turner at Summit Bank.

We went this weekend for the Johanson Journey annual trip to the Pumpkin patch.  It’s our 2nd year to go but I am loving this tradition!  Ryan even said, “I remember this place!”  I love it when he recalls things we have done before! I just thought I’d share a highlight of our time there with pictures!

Great day to be outside and the kids had a blast!IMG_7160

I loved seeing these pics on instagram! We went to a pumpkin patch last year, but were lame-o's this year and got our pumpkin at Walmart. I felt terrible doing that, but there is never enough time to do everything I want!
