Halloween Craft

I had a craft itch, a gift card to Hobby Lobby and about 30 minutes to get out with Rayne to get some easy supplies for a Halloween craft!
I think I saw this on pinterest or a magazine website—I honestly cannot remember or I’d give it some props.. but nonetheless you will need:

a canvas (pick the size for the # of hands or feet you want to use)
black paint
white paint
sponge brushes (my preference but you can use any kind I’m sure)
a set of tooties from your sweet lil’ babes.
for extra umph, grab some Halloween themed rhinestone stickies to apply
Vinyl or sticker lettering

This is a very home-made project and looking at it, I realize now that its not perfect, but having my babies feet printed on anything warms my heart!

On a side note—all you gals out there who are doing projects with vinyl lettering--- where in the world are you getting it?  Am I the only person who doesn’t own a Cricut or Silhouette to make it myself?  I’m not seeing it at Hobby Lobby or Michaels, but might be looking in the wrong spot.  I’m not THAT crafty to hand cut out letters from a blank slate of vinyl.  Suggestions?

I love it! That is so cute! And you will love it forever. And totally right there with you on the vinyl thing. Maybe I should put it on my Christmas list.

That is absolutely adorable, Janette! You did such a good job and I LOVE it!

Girl, I'm not crafty AT ALL (which you already know about me) so I can't help you with the vinyl letter stuff. I don't even know what vinyl lettering is! AHHH!

So cute!!!! You are such a crafty person!!

I don't own a Cricut either ... I want one but just haven't made the investment yet! I wonder if they have them at Hobby Lobby and I can use the 40% off coupon??

HOW CUTE!!!!! I may have to borrow your idea!

How sweet is that!

Girl, you hand cut out those letters? You so need to invest in a Cricut, or call me and I'll send you letters already done!

This is priceless!!! You have me wanting to make one of these with my kiddos. I have a cricut but don't quite know how to use it all the way. :(

This is adorable!!!! Are you going to do it every year so you can see how much bigger they get? Lex grew 3 full shoe sizes this past year!!

I have a cricut but before that I used my computer. Go purchase the same vinyl that is at Hobby Lobby, Joannes or Michaels for the machine....then lay it flat and print the letters off your computer. Use that as a stencil for your vinyl and cut it out by hand. You can also go online to Expression Vinyl and get vinyl sheets super cheap if you just want to 'try' it out.

How cute!!! I love how different all your feet ghosts are. :) And I'd love to get a cricut. But I'm not sure two crafts a year could justify the cost.
