We Want to Know Wednesday Q&A is hosted by:

Impulsive Addict, Mamarazzi and Seriously Shawn

{1} Which activities make you lose track of time?
Just about everything.. I know many people say jokingly that they have adult A.D.D but I really think I have that—or a very short attention span.  Its likely my reasoning for always being late.  I find myself getting ready in the morning and the next thing I know I’m hanging clothes in the closet, writing a thank you note or something off the wall when I should be drying my hair or getting dressed.

{2} Is there such a thing as perfect?
I am sure we all have a vision of what perfect might be, but I am only positive that when I saw my children’s face for the very first time, it was the most perfect moment in my life… so maybe LIFE itself is perfect as God created and it is what we make it.

{3} When do you feel most like yourself?
When I am with friends and family…. but to be honest, I think I am pretty much the same person in most situations.. I might get my shy around some but you get what you see with me I guess..

{4} Describe your life in a 6 word sentence.
’I’m just livin’ the American Dream’….
american dream

{5} Share one of your most beloved childhood memory.
Learning to ski at a very early age and riding up ski lifts with my Pap singing “Good Bye Yellow Brick Road’ by Elton John as we would pass over the bunny hill called Yellow Brick Road on Crested Butte Mountain.

I thought they were tough questions too. Took a little more time to put together but fun all the same.

Aww, your babies are perfect. Love that!

Your dad sounds so cute, singing Elton John songs in the car. :-)

Cute! And yeah, my babies are perfect too! I mean its such a miracle when they're all of a sudden there and with you and have all these working parts and jeesh! Love it!

Great thoughts on perfection!

And I have never learned to ski, I am way too accident prone!

Sometimes I think we get so caught up in ourselves that we don't realize that we're living exactly as we want to be. Good answers. :)

Awe love your memory. That's a good one. :)

I'm totally with you on losing track of time in that manner. I think its just a busy mom thing. I do it all the time. Like this morning, I was putting clothes away and starting laundry and then I ended up cleaning up Scout's bookkshelf. All while I was supposed to be getting ready for work....

You have some really great and perfect answers! :)
Aren't we all living the American Dream??? Well those of us living in America I guess :)

I think maybe we somehow get lost in that same bizarro bermuda triangle. :) I'll be getting ready to go somewhere, get sidetracked, and so on. I think it's because we tackle so many things at once - and there's never enough time or enough of us to go around.

That whole getting sidetracked thing? It happens to me all the time. I call it mommy brain. I blame the kids, they gave me the whole---SQUIRREL!

Swear, I have Adult ADD too...One minute I'm creeping facebook, the next I'm pricing cameras on the Best Buy website, and I'm like, "Huh? How did I get here??"

Love your childhood memory!!

Your answers are great! I confess to giggling at the picture that you put with question #1!

Have a great week!!

I have the same issues with #1. And I'm also OCD so it makes me a little crazy.

Babies are perfect! Great answer and I couldn't agree more!

My parents took me snow skiing twice. I sucked it up both times. I have weak ankles. It makes skiing a little difficult. After 97 face plants, I gave up.

I will miss co-hosting with you but I will continue to follow your blog! We've become friends and I love that! xoxo

I always wanted to learn to ski but I figure I should be able to walk without falling first! Have not yet mastered that!! My dad used to sing too!

You are RIGHT! Perfect is looking in to your newborn's face. Such peace among such chaos.

I love EJ - mostly because I listened to it growing up. Sounds like you had some great times growing up!

Do you remember the little dog from 'Up' that could talk?!? The ADD one...SQUIRREL! That's us. :o) I'm same way about distractions. Nothing can ever get done in one sitting around here...

I just love Elton John! I'd have been singing the same song!! :o)

Sorry your linky co-hosts are leaving! :o(

You've always seem to me like you've always been yourself, even the first time I met you. It's a beautiful thing when someone is comfortable in their skin.

You're babies are gorgeous, btw.

And I totally feel ya on feeling like we're living the American dream. It's so true.
