We Want to Know Wednesday Q&A is hosted by:

Impulsive Addict, Mamarazzi and Seriously Shawn

1}  What is the best or worst pick up line you have ever been given?
Gosh, I don’t think I have ever honestly heard a pick up line that wasn’t a joke.  I recall my freshman year in college when ‘forwards’ were big and I got one with a list of pick up lines and shared them with my friends in the dorm during lunch one day.  One of them was, “Nice Shoes, ya wanna screw?”<—although it used a tad more foul language than that.  One of the friends at the table and I laughed so hard and when I would see him walk by between classes on campus, we would always say this to each other as a joke… my friend didn’t make it past our freshman year, because he left to go become famous.  Nick Stahl went on to play John Conner in the Terminator movie!  Wonder if he’d remember that pick up line?

2}  What is your most and least favorite day of the week?
I don’t know if any particular day is my favorite or least favorite… each day is what you make of it.. Saturdays are pretty cool though b/c I know I have 1 more day to sleep in.. whatever that means with a 1yr old and a 3yr old.
favorite week day

3}  How many hours of sleep do you require each night?
The more I can get, the better off I am.. I’d be satisfied with 9 hours, 10 if I am EXTREMELY lucky but I’m sure I can survive on less… its just not in anyone’s best interest.

4}  Is there a song that takes you back in time? What song is it and what memory is it attached to?
The song that I think brings me back to my childhood is “Pour Some Sugar On Me” by Def Leppard.  I have no specific memory tied to it but I just remember trying to hard to learn the words!  When I was in 7th grade, I fell for a boy named Trey Brunt.  It was the same year that Robin Hood, Price of Thieves came out and Bryan Adams was hot on the radio with his song “Everything I do, I do it for you”…. I changed the words and said ‘I do it for Trey’.  My parents even sang the song with those words, because that is how much the song came on and how goo-goo I was for this dude who broke my heart.. go figure.

5}What is your biggest guilty pleasure?
Anything dessert would be too general eh?  Starbucks coffee or Linda’s Fudge Cake from The Cheese Cake factory come to mind… spending $$ at Hobby Lobby or taking a stroll through Kirklands.. maybe even getting a new pair of Miss Me jeans!!

Those two songs definitely speak to my youth as well; love them. Also, that's funny about Nick Stahl. I loved that guy in the HBO show Carnivale. Happy Wednesday.

I have been hard core craving Cheesecake Factory. A slice of cheesecake and some Buffalo Blasts - but our closest one is a good 40 minute drive.

Of course now that you mentioned it it's been pounded into my head even further!

That Bryan Adams song depresses me, because I don't think there's a guy that exists who would actually do any of those things, haha Same thing for "When You Really Love a Woman" (I think that's an extended title compliments of yours truly). Guys don't just don't have feelings like that!

I mentioned that pick-up line too haha! & That is really cool that your friend became famous!

Sleeping in, that is a very rare thing with kids isn't it? I tell my son daily he needs to let me sleep for another hour or two, he doesn't go for it.

Love Starbucks and I ADORE those Jeans!!

I'll take as much sleep as I can get, but often don't get as much as I need. Stupid insomnia.
I had friends who sometimes used that line. It was a bit naughtier.

4. Def Leppard--That's a great one! Although I didn't figure out the meaning until much later. I still love it though.
5. I've never purchased Miss Me jeans! Can you believe that? I just can't spend the money. My fav jeans come from Maurice's.

That's funny about Nick Stahl. I first saw him on Carnivale. He's actually a pretty good actor. Was he as cute back then as he is now? I don't think he'd have needed a line for me - lol!

WOW, Nick Stahl?! Totally awesome story!!

I (thought I) had an appointment yesterday (long story, definitely one for the Friday Confessions), and since I was in the next town over 35 miles away, I got me some Starbucks-an iced coconut mocha YUMMM!
