We Want to Know Wednesday Q&A is hosted by:

Impulsive Addict, Mamarazi and Seriously Shawn & ME!!!

1.  What game show have you always thought you could be on and totally WIN!
I am all about a game show that doesn’t require a lot of thought.. I don’t need to be stressed out while trying to win hundreds, thousands or millions of dollars!
1st show would be Family Feud.. with my oh-so-smart family of course!
….as long as I could tell the host to try not to touch me.. do you notice how all of them have to kiss your cheek, hold your hand, put their hand on your back…. I don’t understand.
2nd show would be Wheel of Fortune..

How hard can it be to spin that big ole’ wheel and call out a letter or two!?
When I was a kid, I used to LOVE the Wammies and always wanted to scream—BIG BUCKS… NO WAMMIES!!!!
STOP! press your luck
2.  Do you have a tattoo(s)? What are they and what made you chose them? If not, would you get one, yes/no/why?
I got my first tattoo on my 19th birthday while I was in college.  I was so excited and scared to get one that I flipped through a book and just picked one.  I decided to go for the rear so that no one would see it.  Did I mention I was scared?  It was a heart that was scribbled on with all the colors of the rainbow.  Thank goodness its back yonder and I don’t have to see it.  Hate it.
Then earlier in 2002 I think, I decided on a butterfly tattoo on my ankle.  I didn’t want anything to bug-like and yet wanted it to look real (not picky or anything) and to this day, I still love it.
If I were to get another, I have no idea the location as I feel my best locations have already been taken and I would likely find a creative way to include my children’s name in a dainty way… not like plastering my last name on my back or anything crazy…
3.  What is your favorite piece of jewelry that you own?
First and foremost, my wedding ring/band.  My hubs picked it out all by himself with only a few little hints of what I love (vintage and princess cut) and put it together for a memorable proposal in Rome, Italy!!

My other favorite piece of jewelry is my grandmother’s ring which my Father gave to me and I treasure it so much!  It is also vintage and extremely dainty… so much so that I can’t even wear it because I’m afraid it will break.  I hope someday (hint hint) my hubs gets one made for me to look exactly like it so I can wear it all the time!

4.  What is your driving pet peeve(s)?
As a pregnant person, I would say—STEER CLEAR! Everything drives me nuts!
a.  people who still have political stickers on their cars for elections that are over.  I would love to rear-end a few of them.
b.  people who try to RACE when you are merging into one lane.  the CUTTERS!  Or the terds who decide to cut over at the last second and you have no choice but to let them over… like this person:
bad driver
c.  people who ride my tail and its not because I’m a slow driver!
d.  granted I get very upset, but lets say there is such thing as a pure accident and you gesture that you are so sorry and the other person wishes you were dead and in hell burning with Osama!  Geesh!
e.  When people get into an accident… clearly its an accident and someone always gets out of their car ANGRY as hell… as if it was intended…
f.  Cops who hide or have these games where they use their walkie talkies to get with their buds to try to screw over someone with a ticket.  punks.
Okay, I”ll stop there.

5.  What was your favorite sitcom growing up that you wish was still on?

This was a hard one for me because at the time, you would think my world was ending when these shows were cancelled or ending but looking back now, none of them can compare to the ones I am hooked on now!
Cosby Show was one of my favorites along with Growing Pains and the Original 90210 (which I guess isn’t really a sitcom).  Seinfeld and Roseanne were always hits in our house.  Full House, Alf and Who’s the Boss… Gosh, there were a bunch I loved!  Those were the good ole’ days!!

That is funny about Family Feud! I did notice how that guy was always touching the ladies!! It's like ew creeper! LOL

Beautiful wedding ring! I am going to get some bling when my husband graduates college and gets a good job! :)

Loved 90210!! I was so into the drama at that age....who am I kidding...I still am!

Crud I forgot about those shows lol.. I loved ALF too.. Game show .. I still have to think about that one..

I whined about mergers too. I'm always yelling at them like "Don't you a-hole me!!" Like, what makes them think they have the right to just scoot in front??

Hahahah Kyra loved the Whammy show. I hate cutters too- esp if you are nice enough to let someone go then they know it's not their turn.

Gorgeous ring.

Ohhh- I love both of your rings - so pretty!!

I just have to say that when I lived in DFW, I HATED driving up there - all of your peeves are so true - but I don't encounter them as much now that I don't live there - all that traffic makes people horrible drivers!!!!

OK, I feel you (not literally) on the whole host touching on Family Feud. I can't stand when people who don't know me touch me.

Love the rings! I have my grandmother's wedding band and I am scared to wear it, too. The gold has actually worn thin on the back of the band.

I will do whatever I can to keep a late merger out--bad, I know, but they had the same chance as the rest of us!

I said the Feud too!! Wanna be an honorary family member and go at it with me?

Your wedding ring....omg...BEAUTIFUL!!!

Thanks for hosting again.

Love those rings! Hubby did good!
Some of your pet peeves are the same ones that drive me nuts--thank goodness I live in a small town and don't have to deal with lots of traffic.

You're SO right about game show hosts! I didn't realize it until you said something, but they are WAY too touchy feely...now I'm not so sure I'd want to go on one. I get nervous when weird people touch me, hahaha

I LOVE all of your rings, your wedding set is beauitful and your grandmother's ring is so precious. It looks so nice on your finger! It's a shame you don't get to wear it. :(

I hate all things cops do, I think they're all power hungry and just out to make someone's day crappy. Yes, let's pull someone over and ticket them for having a light out, but let the jerk who's weaving in and out of traffic at 70 MPH keep going...ugh.

Ok, sista.... your rating with me just went down in points. ALF??

You are too funny! I am kidding.-- a little.

I hate cutters!! Don't make me pull out that middle finger on that one!

I'm linking up for the first time...exciting!
I actually used to fantasize that I was living on Growing Pains. It's still one of my very favorite fantasies.

I cannot begin to explain my love for 90210. Brenda, Dylan, Kelly...ohhhh some of the greatest plot lines ever.

I love your tat! Too cute. I wanted a butterfly on the ankle but I never did it...and when I finally decided I wanted one I went totally different location...and bug, lol

Dang! I forgot to link up til JUST NOW. Oops! Anyway...great questions this week - thanks!! I love that you have photographic proof of one of your driving peeves. Beautiful rings - I love your wedding ring, but I especially love the ring that was your grandmother's.

I was nodding along with you... yep, game show hosts are too touchy... yep, that ring is gorgeous! Rome, wow?! Yep... those drivers are obnoxious...

Wait. Alf!?

Never mind.

I love love love your ring!! Gorgeous!

Bad drivers should be shot. Period

I have never heard of Wammies! I did watch many game shows though when I was a kid other than the Price is Right and Wheel of Fortune.

Love the tat and your rings!! Very pretty!

I hate when people cut in line too (driving or not). I try to be nice and let people out but some people are just rude!

I have to admit (and I feel really bad about it) I thought I had been a follower of yours until I checked today...and I wasn't....GAH! I am now though! I LOVE your wedding ring! So pretty! Also--I have road rage, so I completely agree with all of your driving pet peeves. I am very critical of other drivers and I HATE it when they break the rules!!

I loved Press Your Luck! Great questions this week. Everyone seems to have the same road oet peeves- makes you wonder who it is that is doing it then? :)

Ahhhhh I forgot about this today!!! And I don't want to post twice today, so I'll catch ya'll for it next week!! :o(

Great job on the questions!! I love that you watched Alf, too! I loved that show, but looking back on it now, I wonder why it never gave me nightmares. :o) It bothers me when things talk that aren't supposed to. :o)

I love the questions you chose this week!!

Never heard of Press Your Luck, and you and Shawn both chose it. I'm going to have to find out about this show now.

Your rings are gorgeous!!

Date Girl said...

beautiful ring! That just looks like a ring that would be in Italy. Your husband did very well.

I love all the shows from back in the day. I feel like tv is finally coming around (Modern Family, How I Met Your Mother, The Middle, Raising Hope and a few others) but it took awhile for shows to really be like what they were back when.

I hate idiot, inconsiderate drivers. They drive me crazy!

Impulsive Addict said...

I'm still commenting on blogs at 11:00pm! LOTS of PEOPLE this week! YAY!

The Family Feud hosts over the years have totally freaked me out. Remember the one guy kissed on the MOUTH! I would slap him silly. Old perv.

Wow! Your wedding rings are gorgeous girl! I love love love them!

OMG..those political stickers drive me batty. And someone always lets the idiots in, don't they? Bugs the shiz out of me.

Ha! I forgot about Alf! I loved Who's the Boss too. Do you remember Vickie that robot girl? I think she came on before Alf. That was a LOOOOONG time ago!

Great questions!!
