Thursdays Favorites

I have been meaning to link up with Miss Melanie for her new Thursday Favorites Party.... and what better time to join than when she is asking about favorite restaurants!!  I’m making it plural because I am a pregnant hungry hippo and I can’t just pick one!

There are only 4 of these restaurants located in the United States and Thank GOODNESS one is here near me!  Think Hibachi style but magnified.. just amazing food!! Shogun comes in probably 2nd in line if I can't get to Kobes but Ive been going there for as long as I can remember! Delicious I tell ya!

My list wouldn't be complete without some Italian..
olive macaroni

In other news.. I am in 'thinking mode' about how to spend my 4th year wedding anniversary with this

My question to YOU is this.. how do you spend your anniversary?  Do you do the typical traditional gift giving?  Do you get a big ole gift that is for the two of you?  The 4th wedding anniversary traditional gift is Fruit and Flowers.  What a boring traditional gift idea!  I’m sure there are fun ways to spice up flowers and fruit, but Babe.. if you're reading... lets not do fruit/flowers.

Anyone have ideas? Suggestions?

I highly doubt your a hippo now...pregnant hungry yes! crazy is it that it's our 4th year wedding anniversary this year as well in June! And I didn't know about the fruit and flowers but now I do! LOL. I don't care much for extravagant gifts but that's because I know we don't have any money this year!LOL

I think our first wedding anniversary I made my husband a book you know from like or something you can put your pictures and make a picture book. I liked that.....

I wish I had better suggestions for you! Hope you have a great anniversary.

YUM! Now I'm hungry for Yamato. That's probably our equivilant to Kobe's... a little better than Shoguns. Olive Garden! Yum!

We never do stuff for our wedding anniversary. We try to go do something for our dating anniversary though (in Oct). Crazy I know but oh well. :)

YAY! I've been to all 3 of those! There was a Kobe near Chicago (I think?) that we ate at one time when M was working up there. They had the BEST Plum wine. It was soooo yummy!

Happy early anniversary! We usually do a gift exchange and a date night! I never follow what they recommend. Like ever. Give him something that he wants or needs. If you can't think of anything, then talk about getting a gift that would benefit BOTH of you.

Good luck!

Italian is my favorite, and I can eat Macaroni Grille or Olive Garden until I pop! Great choices!

No, we don't do the traditional gifts nor do we really give gifts.

We usually go away for the night.--- It's almost become a tradition with us.
