Things that make me happy!

1.  Who doesn’t love to win things?  Seriously?  I know a lot of us are timid about signing up for a give-away… you think, ‘oh, I’ll never win’, or ‘I’ve already won, so I shouldn’t sign up’…. whatever it is…. when you do win, it is so Great!!! It makes me happy.  Look how cute these hair clips are… and I’m sure you can do more than just slap em’ in your hair.. .and seriously, this is not the only cute thing that my sweet friend Ashley can make… Just check her Etsy site which is EVER GROWING and see HERE for yourself!!

2.  Hearing my daughter say the words “Momma” for the first time (she did it last night officially 3/23/11).  I thought I had heard her say it earlier in the day but I didn’t know if my ears were playing tricks on me.  I told Erik about it and he laughed and then… she said it… and he heard it!!  Ah!!!  I know ‘Da-Da’ is usually first and she’s had that down since she was about 6 months old, but this just feels so good.  I thought she might graduate from high school before I heard it!

3.  Asking a company (Orly) if I can do a product review for them and get sample nail polish colors to tell people about and having them say, “YES!!!”  <—stay tuned! I’m so excited.  Hint hint…  to anyone who wants to do a give away, product review or anything of the sort… talk to me!

4. Planning a play date with a fairly large group of friends and ALL of them can go!! <—stay tuned… pictures to come.

5. Getting to talk to a friend that I haven’t chatted with in a while and loving how easy it is just to ‘talk’ and pick up from the last time without missing a beat!

The happy list I have shared is inspired by:

You know, this question is very important.  When I first started this post, I thought of all the things I could complain about but it certainly feels better to share happy stuff… and hopefully it will help block out the negative ju-ju that I have (mainly about work) but that’s a whole ‘nutha’ post.

Oh! Congrats on winning those adorable clipies!

And on getting the Orly polish review offer. :) does one do that? I'd love to do more giveaways for my amazing readers, but have only had the opportunity to do one (thanks to CSN) so far. Hrmm....

Saw your comment on my blog although I have been playing hookey this week. Could not sleep again tonight so got up and turned the computer on. Following you back now also. I would love to do reviews but I don't know the first thing about it and don't know if my blog is ready yet. I don't have a scanner for pics and would not even know where to put them! I only got little Charlie's pic in because the template said I could put one there. Don't know how you guys get them in the middle of the page! Thanks for stopping by!

Having a child say Mama for the first time is wonderful! I love it! All four of mine have said dada first. Lame! But when they say mama, it truly warms my heart!
