A New Law or Rule

I have an idea that I want everyone to think about... if you agree, pass it on.

I use a cell phone for all my calls.  We canceled our home phones and occasionally have the dropped call.  How do you know who is going to call the other person back?  Its always a race it seems to try to call the other person back and you end up going straight to voicemail because they are trying to call you back.  Its a vicious cycle until one of you gets lucky and you know the conversation always goes something like this:

"Gosh, I don't know what happened!! Was that your phone or mine?  I tried to call you back but kept getting your voicemail"...
So, here's my idea.
If you are talking on the phone with someone and your call drops. The person who's name begins with a letter that starts closest to the top of the alphabet is the one responsible to call back.

Example:  I am talking to Ryan on the phone.  Since my name begins with a J, its my responsiblity to call back.

I never know who should call back and spend way too much time getting voicemails when I try to reconnect... So this will be my policy going forward.  :)

What do you think?

That's funny :) This always happens when I'm talking to my mom and then we're both calling each other and it takes 30 minutes for one of us to stop so it can ring!!!
